Shopping in Edinburgh
Scotland's capital has much to offer in terms of good old fashioned retail therapy. The most popular street is Princes Street in the New Town which is lined with department stores and chain stores. It is undoubtedly the place to venture to if you're looking for department stores such as Debenhams, BHS, Marks & Spencers, Jenners and Harvey Nichols, or well known brands such as H&M.
Not far from Princes Street is Rose Street with its smaller quaint shops. the area is a pedestrian zone so its a safe place to wonder around and lose yourself in the shop windows. George Street on the other hand tends to have more upscale shops and brands such as Laura Ashley and Waterstones. Antique shops can be found on Dundas street while if you're in search of boutiques Thistle Street is your destination.
If you're looking for souvenirs of your time in Scotland then the Royal Mile is dotted with shops that sell whiskies, tartans and tweeds.
Fort Kinnaird
Fort Kinnaird is a one stop shopping destination. Comprising of a huge 584,000 square feet, it houses all the top brands such as Gap, Boots, Borders, Next, JJB Sports, PC World, Toys R US, Currys and Odeon Cinemas.
Located on the outskirts of Edinburgh, it is easily accessible by transport links and even has 2,275 free parking spaces. With such a wide range of shops, restaurants and facilities, Fort Kinnaird is an excellent shopping and leisure destination.
Ocean Terminal.
Located just 10 minutes from the City Centre on Edinburgh's Water Front, Ocean Terminal is a unique mix of shopping, leisure and culture.

The Gyle Shopping Centre aims to give visitors an enjoyable and memorable shopping experience. For those with young children and babies, there is even a baby change room and bottle warming facilities.
