Euro Hostels Ltd operates one of Scotland's largest hostels... Euro Hostel Glasgow. Just 200m from Glasgow's Central Station and with over 380 beds, this modern, clean facility has been operating very successfully for over 5 years. But when it comes to the Edinburgh market, finding an appropriately sized building in the city centre has proven extremely difficult.
With this in mind, Euro Hostels set about striking a deal with the university to lease the student apartment accommodation in Edinburgh during their summer vacation. For 2008 we are open from 13th June until 7th September and have secured 43 fully equipped apartments at Kincaids Court… Right on Cowgate, one block from the Royal Mile in the centre of the world famous Old Town!
These self catering apartments sleep a total of 253 people. We have apartments ranging in size from 3 persons to our HUGE 12 persons. All have single and twin bedrooms within these modern, clean and private apartments. Everything is supplied for you to just move in and start living. All kitchen utensils, pots, pans, crockery and cutlery are provided. We even provide towels to help lighten the load while you're getting here...(and those cute little blocks of soap).
Each bedroom has it's own phone and reception is manned 24hrs. There is a shop on-site that sells all of your day-to-day requirements as well as a comprehensive range of tickets for attractions, tours and sightseeing. We even have breakfast groceries, snacks and souvenirs.
We do nightly rates as well as weekly. These private apartments are perfect for a weekend group (Stag or Hen Party for example) or a week away with the family.
