October 2008

Unfortunately, neither Euro Hostel Newcastle Halls nor Euro Hostel Newcastle will be open at the time of this event.

The 13-mile Great North Run, from Newcastle-upon-Tyne via Gateshead to the coast at South Shields, is the biggest half-marathon in the world. Since the first race in 1981 it has attracted not only serious contenders (such as high-profile British female athletes Kelly Holmes and Paula Radcliffe), but also those running for fun or charity.
