Southside United Boys Club

Euro Hostel Glasgow is proud to sponsor Glasgow's favourite junior football teams at Southside United BC.

Since October of 2005 we have been supporting the teams and we are delighted to supply the kids with their kits. The results the teams achieve are superb and you just know that stars of the future are playing.

Southside Utd was created in 2002 when the Club Chairman and founder Robert Green started training a few local kids. The club has grown massively since then and now has almost 120 boys and girls mostly from the Southside of Glasgow. Currently there are teams in age groups for children born in 1993,1994,1995,1996 and 1997.

All teams play in the non-competitive programs run by East Renfrewshire and Scottish Youth Clubs Association. They also play in summer competitions such as the Umbro International Cup which is Europe's biggest football festival. In addition to this the club has participated in the Muirton Festival and beaten teams like Celtic BC.

The boys have gone through the Winter Comp at Springburn UNBEATEN !!

Yes, today's results at the final meeting for the winter season have confirmed that the boys at Southside are truly legends in the making. They have successfully completed the winter season without losing a game. Well Done Guys!!
