Duty Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a temporary summer position for a Duty Manager to join the team in Edinburgh.  This role will involve the day-to-day management of the hostel including dealing with guests, ensuring high standards within housekeeping, maintenance and reception.  Employment will commence around the 1^st June 2012 until 3^rd September 2012.

The successful candidate will ideally have supervisory or management experience within the hostel or hotel industry.  An outgoing personality and the ability to enjoy and have fun at work is also desirable, as you will have constant interaction with guests; you will report directly to the Hostel Resident Manager.

The role requires that you work with the existing team to ensure absolute customer satisfaction and also meet or exceed sales and profit targets.

This is a full time position on a temporary basis.  An excellent salary is on offer for the ideal candidate.

Head Housekeeper

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Housekeeper to join the team in Edinburgh for a temporary contract from 1^st June 2012 until 3^rd September 2012.  Euro Hostel requires an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is hungry for success with a drive to exceed guest's expectations.  

The successful candidate will ideally be a Housekeeper or Deputy Housekeeper within the hostel or hotel industry.  Reporting directly to the Hostel Resident Manager you will have full responsibility for the overall running of the Housekeeping Department.

The role requires that you lead the team to ensure absolute customer satisfaction by managing all of the daily activities associated with a very busy Housekeeping Department.

Receptionist

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a temporary Receptionist to join the team in Edinburgh.  Euro Hostels requires an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is hungry for success.  Employment will commence around the 1^st June 2012 until 3^rd September 2012.

The successful candidate will ideally have worked in the hostel or hotel industry.  Reporting directly to the Resident Manager you will have responsibility for dealing with all guest enquires including checking guests in and out.   

The role requires that you have an outgoing personality and enjoy meeting people.  Customer service skills are more important to us than experience in this position as full training will be given.

A competitive salary is on offer for the ideal candidate who wants to join a fun place to work.  This is a full time position based on 5 days out of 7 and will include weekend and evening work.

Room Attendant

An excellent opportunity has arisen for temporary Room Attendants to join the team in Edinburgh.  Euro Hostels requires an enthusiastic and motivated individual who is hungry for success.  Employment will commence around the 1^st June 2012 until 3^rd September 2012.

The successful candidate will ideally have worked in the hostel or hotel industry.  Reporting directly to the Head Housekeeper you will have responsibility for cleaning and servicing guest’s bedrooms.   

The role requires that you have an outgoing personality and enjoy meeting people.  Customer service skills are more important to us than experience in this position as full training will be given.

A competitive salary is on offer for the ideal candidate who wants to join a fun place to work.  This position will offer approximately 30 hours per week based on 5 days out of 7 and will include weekend work.
