Markets in Edinburgh

Edinburgh's bustling markets are full of character, charm and of course bargains. Whether you are looking for traditional Scottish produce, such as some flavoursome organic Scottish wine, or just browsing and taking in the traditional market atmosphere, our markets are always huge fun. Plus, on top of our regular offerings, we’re delighted to have a seasonal Christmas Market, and a range of continental markets throughout the year.

Edinburgh Farmer's Market
Castle Terrace (just below Edinburgh Castle) every Saturday from 9am - 2pm.

For the very best in fresh, organic, quality-food visit the Edinburgh Farmer's market. Many of the stallholders produce or grow the food that they sell, including specialities such as wild boar, venison or even ostrich. Other types of produce including fish, free-range eggs, cheese, seasonal fruit and vegetables, wine and even soap are also regularly available.

Remember to ask at reception for directions to any of these Edinburgh markets including Christmas and Continental.
