Want to know the truth? Mercat Tours was established by a group of Edinburgh history teachers who were determined that their walking tours would tell the whole, gory story of the city's past.
From the very start the Royal Mile tour of Ghosts and Ghouls proved very popular. Since then, the portfolio has expanded to include the most extensive underground Edinburgh ghost tours as well as tours abroad to the battlefields of the First and Second World Wars.
