Edinburgh Playhouse

The Edinburgh Playhouse has had a colourful history and has been saved from demolition on a couple of occasions. After a major refurbishment was undertaken in 1993, and now a Live Nation venue, the Playhouse hosts everything from touring stage plays and musicals, to stand up comedy, kids shows and international concerts.

Getting There

Leave Euro Hostel and trun left then right into Cowgate. Continue 150 metres and take Blair Street to the left. Follow to the top and High Street. With a right turn and immediate left you are on North Bridge. Follow over until you get to Princes Street then take a right and a left toward Leith Walk. Follow down Leith Walk until you see the Omni Centre. Vere right at the Omni Centre and you will see the Festival Theatre on your right.
