Pope Benedict XVI's Glasgow mass fast approaching
Glasgow hostels will be the perfect resting place for those celebrating mass with Pope Benedict XVI in Bellahouston Park next month.
Up to 100,000 people are expected to attend the event on September 16th as part of Pope Benedict's first trip to the UK and the first papal visit since 1982.
However, visitors will not be allowed to be alone at the venue and must be attached to a group from a Catholic parish to attend the celebration.
The papal visit website tells visitors: "You are also representing your local community and you will return renewed, taking home the experience and message of the Holy Father."
Bellahouston Park is three miles outside of the centre of Glasgow and hosts a number of concerts, as well as the start of the annual Scottish Women's 10km race.
The park was also the venue for the 1982 visit of Pope John Paul II. He celebrated mass in front of 280,000 people and part of the ceremonial stand still remains today.
