Barrowland overcome with Panic! at the Disco
People staying in hostels in Glasgow will be rocked by Panic! at the Disco when the Las Vegas band head to the city's Barrowland Ballroom in January.
This year saw the multi award-winning rock duo release their third studio album, 'Vices & Virtues', marking a new era for the distinctive sound of the band.
Following 2008's critically acclaimed 'Pretty. Odd', their latest album shows that the band have no plans on subsiding, taking the musical emotional content of their work to a whole new level.
After two of the band's founding members left in 2009 to leave duo Brendon Urie on drums and percussion alongside multi-instrumentalist frontman Spencer Smith, it was a struggle to get to the third album mark, but they achieved it with aplomb.
"There was a month or two where we didn't have any material or direction and that was scary," says Urie.
"But once we found our groove it seemed like nothing could slow us down."
Panic! at the Disco play at Glasgow's Barrowland Ballroom on Saturday January 28th. Tickets cost £17.50 plus booking fee and doors open at 7pm.
