Snow Patrol's world tour comes to the SECC
Fresh from releasing their sixth studio album, Fallen Empires, Snow Patrol are heading to the SECC for two nights playing in front of people staying in hostels in Glasgow.
Having shifted more than 11 million albums, the five-piece band from Ireland and Scotland have almost begun to define an era with their anthemic indie-rock.
With a hectic 2012 in store for the band, they are heading on a world tour with Fallen Empires and as part of the tour have concerts on two consecutive nights at Glasgow's SECC.
After much toil to record the latest album, it was eventually released in November.
Discussing the new album, founding member Gary Lightbody said: "It was tough at times, we were out of our comfort zone for most of it, but I think it's given us a great album."
Snow Patrol play at the SECC Glasgow on Friday January 27th and Saturday January 28th. Tickets cost £32.50 plus booking fee and doors to the gigs open at 6.30pm.
