Orbital return to Glasgow's O2 Academy

Orbital are returning to the live music scene with fresh material and fans can still get tickets and book a hostel in Glasgow for their gig in April.

Having pioneered electronic dance music in the late 80s and early 90s, the British duo have enjoyed a stellar career that temporarily came to an end in 2004.

Since they launched their career on the underground rave scene, Phil and Paul Hartnoll have become renowned around the world for their avant garde approach to electronic music, regularly wowing audiences with psychedelic loops and beeps.

Many will know their anthemic cover of the Doctor Who theme tune, Doctor? which became an instant club classic.

The two brothers from Sevenoaks revived their partnership in 2009 and after touring again, returned to the studio to create what will be their tenth studio album due for release this year.

Orbital perform at the O2 Academy in Glasgow on Saturday April 7th. Doors open at 7pm and tickets cost £24 plus booking fee.
