See McFly Up Close and Personal at the SECC

Pop-rock band McFly are on a high at the moment ahead of their 2012 Up Close and Personal tour that sees them head past hostels in Glasgow on their way to the SECC.

Two of the band's members have won two of the UK's biggest reality TV shows recently as they took time out from recording new music.

In December drummer Harry Judd danced his way to victory on the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing while bass guitarist Dougie Poynter was crowned king of the I'm a Celebrity, Get Me

Out Of Here jungle, keeping half of the band busy ahead of their huge tour this year.

Now their trophies are gathering dust on the mantelpiece, they are rejoining frontmen Thomas Fletcher and Danny Jones to get back to their day jobs – playing music to armies of screaming fans.

McFly: Up Close and Personal comes to the Clyde Auditorium at the SECC on Friday April 13th. Doors open at 7pm and tickets cost £27.50 plus booking fee.
