Surge festival returns to Glasgow

For the third year running the Surge festival presented by Conflux will bring a whole load of street arts, circus performance and physical theatre to Scotland, giving people staying in Glasgow hostels a boatload of events to take part in.

The annual festival in Glasgow celebrates all things creative and kooky with a range of events running across the last week in July.

With workshops, classes, performances and shows aplenty, audiences are in for a real treat.

Many of the events take place at the city's famous The Arches venue, with other street performances going on throughout the city centre.

The Highlight of the festival will be the PVI Collective: Deviator event, which will see the art group from Australia take over the streets of Glasgow with a load of disruptive and down-right fun games.

Conflux presents Surge runs from Monday July 23rd until Sunday July 29th. Event times, venues and prices vary so visit The Arches website for more information.
