BBC Four comedy creator brings show to Edinburgh

A hilarious new comedy show is coming to The Stand in May that promises to get people staying in Edinburgh hostels laughing at the ridiculousness of their own lives.

Having created and starred in the brilliant BBC Four comedy quiz show We Need Answers, Alex Horne has now created a great stand-up show that takes a bunch of statistics about everyday life and turns them into a hilarious rollercoaster of an evening.

Seven Years in the Bathroom is about all of the time we spend doing the mundane across our lifetime, and throughout the show Horne will attempt to recreate a lifetime's work in one night.

Two years shopping, eighteen months spent searching for lost stuff and two weeks kissing – he'll fit all of that and more into the show as he aims to have people laughing at the hilarious nature of our lives in statistics.

Alex Horne: Seven Years in the Bathroom is at The Stand, Edinburgh, on Tuesday May 22nd.

Tickets cost £12 or £10 for members and concessions. Doors open at 7.30pm and the show starts at 8.30pm.
