Lostprophets return to the fray

It is more than two years since the Lostprophets headlined a UK tour but fans can book a Glasgow hostel to see them perform once again when they return to action in April.

Set to release their fifth studio album Weapons on April 2nd, the Welsh rock outfit are duly embarking on a UK tour that sees them take in O2 academies up and down the country.

This year marks the 15th anniversary of the band's formation, and having sold around four million albums in the process, they've notched up a massive following in that time.

Singles such as Last Train Home and Rooftops helped them on the climb to stardom and following 2010's album The Betrayed they have been quietly plugging away in the studio to put together their latest record.

Lostprophets play at the Glasgow O2 Academy on Wednesday April 25th. Tickets cost £22.50 plus booking fee and doors open at 7pm.
