Matt Cardle has a date at the Glasgow O2 Academy

Matt Cardle is going on tour next month, with fans able to book Glasgow hostels to see him at the city's O2 Academy.

Having won Simon Cowell's X Factor talent competition in 2010, Cardle is heading on a 20-date tour of the country in March, with the only other O2 Academy date taking place in Bournemouth.

For the Glasgow leg of his tour he will be supported by Roxanne Emery as he performs songs from his debut album Letters, which was released at the end of 2011.

A fantastic live performer, Matt was never the favourite to win the X Factor but beat off the competition with his classic voice and loveable charm before seeing his first single, When We Collide, go straight in at Christmas number one in the UK single charts.

Matt Cardle with support from Roxanne Emery play at the O2 Academy Glasgow on Thursday March 12th. Tickets cost £26.50 plus booking fee and doors open at 7pm.
