The Arches is on its best behaviour

Returning for its third year at The Arches, Behaviour 2012 has an epic line-up of live events for people staying in Glasgow hostels to enjoy.

With a programme of diverse live events spanning the eight-week festival, Behaviour 2012 will see a host of international artists descend on Glasgow for shows alongside a clutch of their Scottish peers.

Embracing the weird and wonderful, strange and experimental, Behaviour promises to challenge and stimulate audiences with challenging live shows.

Extending beyond The Arches and into the depths of Glasgow, shows cover the full spectrum or art and performance.

Highlights include an orchestra made out of sewing machines, ten-year-olds giving haircuts to paying adults after a week of training and a mermaid gutting a fish.

"You'll find the intimate and the immense, from whispered installations to riotous dance," said Jackie Wylie, artistic director at The Arches.

Behaviour 2012 takes place at The Arches and other venues across Glasgow between March 3rd and April 29th.

A festival pass costs £39 or £29 for concessions while individual event tickets are also available with varying prices.
