King Tut's date for Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly is donning his superhero outfit and heading to King Tut's Wah Wah Hut, giving people staying in Glasgow hostels the chance to see the singer-songwriter and his band.

Also known as Sam Duckworth, GCWCF is the pseudonym of the 26-year-old musician, which he reportedly took from an instruction guide to a Batman game on the ZX Spectrum.

Signed to the Cooking Vinyl label, his first three albums released as Get Cape were moderately successful commercially but Mr Duckworth has garnered quite a following outside of the mainstream.

With a distinctive indie rock sound, last year's The Mannequin was the first to be released as Sam Duckworth, though he is reverting to Get Cape for this latest tour.

Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly plays live at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow on Sunday May 20th. Tickets cost £8.50 plus booking fee and doors open at 8pm.
