Over the years we have tailored our group reservations and check-in procedures, as well as our accommodation standards, to meet the needs of groups and to take the hassle out of group travel. We cater for all ages and types of groups.
Whether it's group student travel, sports groups, church groups, stag and hen groups or accommodation for school groups, we will negotiate a price and room configuration that will fit within your budget. We have many different room configurations from single to 14 bed dormitories. We also have mobility-enabled rooms, with emergency alarms and adjoining carer rooms if necessary, and an 8-person dorm with wheelchair facilities.
Over the years we have had many different and varied types of groups. From the International Ballet Company, based in Russia, to the Swedish Church Choir and rock bands such as The Melody Club and 70's punk legends The Straps.
Group Discount Accommodation
To keep our everyday prices down, and to remain Glasgow's first choice for budget accommodation, we operate on very tight profit margins. However, we appreciate that when you are trying to find accommodation for your group, so do you!
For group bookings we can offer discounts, on most occasions, depending upon our availability. When you make your enquiry, don't be afraid to ask. The larger the group, or similarly the longer the stay, the higher the possible discount. We can also offer other group discount incentives at our Glasgow property, such as our internal 'Monster Money', for spending anywhere within the bar or hostel. Either way, we will give you that little bit more than the others.

University Group Travel
While forming our sponsorship association with Strathclyde Uni's Sports Union (USSU) we realised that we hadn't been giving the university students a fair enough deal on accommodation. Well, we do now.
If you are a visiting university sports team, or university group of any nature, let us know because we will definitely look after you, even if you are playing against our beloved Strathclyde…(we promise we won't put any 'performance enhancing' substances in your cereal).
School Group Accommodation
As members of BETA, and with the right attitude to school groups, we are fast becoming the first option for travelling school students and their teachers.
We have excellent security measures in place and take the matter of your safety very seriously. Along these lines of professionalism, we do insist on no less than 1 accompanying adult to every 15 students under the age of 18 years.
Sports Team Accommodation
As most people know, we're a little sports mad around this place. All our hostels love having visiting teams. We get university sports teams, junior teams, basketball, rugby and football teams from all over the world.
Once again, let us know any special requests and we may be able to get you sorted. For example, our hostel staff can organise a room for team meetings etc.
Stag and Hen Accommodation
Here at Euro Hostel we understand that stag and hen parties happen all over the country every weekend of the year. We also understand that a lot of hotels don't want your business. Well we do! However, we absolutely insist on impeccable behavior at all times and won't tolerate any shenanigans that disturb any other guests… or us.
Our Glasgow property has the famous Osmosis Bar, which is the perfect place to start one of the most memorable nights of your life. Being in the city centre, there's no need for expensive cabs to reach the action in one of Britain's most famous party cities.
The Euro Hostel Edinburgh Halls property is not licensed but is literally next door to the stag and hen party 'mecca' of Britain… The Three Sisters. It is also a 3 minute walk to Grassmarket and everything that the area holds. Perfect!
Please be aware that a group security deposit may be payable on check in.
Language Students
Our group discounts don't just cover the large groups. We also take into account the length of time that you will be staying. We have many language schools that book with us but also many private students that book direct. If you are planning on staying for more than a month, once again, we can help you out.
Golfing Holidays
We are in the process now of hooking up deals with some local golf courses. When we are sorted we will be putting together golfing weekend packages. Watch this space for details or join up to our mailing list for further information when it comes to hand.
