Designed by one of Newcastle’s premier bar designers, we have created comfortable, relaxed and inviting surroundings in which to enjoy all the great things we offer. With all-day dining from 7am until 9pm, ‘proper’ coffee, an extensive wine list and an original cocktail list, we are confident that you will return again and again.

The Ware Rooms is the ideal place for a quick lunch, relaxing after a busy day or meeting new friends. It is popular with local students and business people as well as international travellers. An eclectic ‘melting pot’ of personalities.

All Day Dining in The Ware Rooms

The music is laid-back, the staff are friendly and the service is second to none. Friday and Saturday nights see things crank up a notch with our resident DJ, David Dunn, lifting everyone gradually to their feet. Playing the best of upfront, soulful and uplifting house and jazz it is hard to resist the toes tapping and the hips moving.

And then on Sunday pull up a comfy leather armchair, a quality coffee or a detoxing smoothie and chill out with all the latest newspapers for a few hours. By then you’ll be our good friend and feel perfectly at home.
