Art in Newcastle Upon Tyne
The Art Works Galleries, Newcastle
The Art Works Galleries is the largest single floor art gallery in the North of England. Just five-minutes from Newcastle city-centre, the gallery prides itself on being a unique and innovative space to see, buy, display and enjoy art.
The venue consists of two galleries under one roof; The Matt Forster Gallery and the Eye to Eye Gallery. The Matt Forster Gallery exhibits works by 'Painter of the North' and gallery owner Matt Forster.
The Eye to Eye Gallery is an entirely new concept in art, providing a space where constructive dialogue between artists and the public can take place and interests in enjoying and buying art can develop.
Exhibitions at The Art Works Galleries change monthly and showcase works by both established and new artists. Aimed at promoting and encouraging the enjoyment of art, the gallery sells original artwork at affordable prices and also offers visitors the opportunity to leave comments and contact details for any of the featured artists.
