St James' Park (or the Sports Direct Arena as it is now known) is the famous home to Newcastle United FC and is the oldest football stadium in the North East. First built in 1880, the stadium has been the home to the Magpies since 1892. The modern 'Magpies Nest' holds over 52,000 supporters and has facilities to rival the best stadiums in the world.
