Go powerboating in Glasgow

If you are planning to stay in one of the budget hotels in Glasgow this summer, you may want to consider going powerboating during your trip.

Seaforce provides fast powerboat rides from the centre of the city and run no matter what the weather.

The company website states: "We provide one of the most exciting things to do in Glasgow - we can take you on a fast powerboat ride or boat trip through Glasgow City on the Clyde."

Seaforce also offers boat trips lasting between one and five hours that take passengers on a tour of the Clyde Estuary, showcasing its "spectacular" sea lochs.

Those looking for a ride on one of the powerboats can either book in advance or turn up on the day.

However, thrill seekers should be warned to take cash with them, as the company cannot yet accept payment via card.

Passengers must be over six months old to go powerboating.
