Taste of Spain brings visitors to Edinburgh

Many may be looking to book hostels in Edinburgh ahead of the Taste of Spain festival being held this weekend.

Held on The Mound within the city centre, the free festival includes flamenco dancers, giant paellas and Spanish bagpipes.

Visitors will be entertained by live music from Spanish band Amino Pop and the Pena Cameron de la Isla Flamenco Band.

The festival website states: "Several of the Spanish regions will be present to entice visitors with giveaways, tasty Spanish treats and exciting interactive activities.

"For the foodies, there are numerous tastings available such as sherry and jamon tasting from the Andalucia region."

There will also be a professional ham carver and a traditional sherry pourer at the event.

On both Saturday and Sunday (24th and 25th) the festival will kick off at 10.30am.

Taste of Spain is supported by a number of businesses, including the Spanish Tourist Office and Jet2holidays.com.
