Mrs Moneypenny to appear in person at Edinburgh Festival Fringe
Festival goers who have booked hostels in Edinburgh ahead of the Festival Fringe may be pleased to hear that they will have the chance to see fictitious Financial Times columnist Mrs Moneypenny speak in person.
Performing over the course of the festival, the real columnist will be in character regaling comical tales involving baking, business and 'cost centres', while cooking for her audience.
Named At Home with Mrs Moneypenny, the event will take place in the AGA Showroom.
Speaking to BBC Scotland, she said: "It will be quite exciting and it'll be the first time I've ever met my public on a face-to-face basis in this very intimate surrounding of my kitchen.
"The most number of people we can fit in here is 45 people so I'm actually limited to a whole run of about 1,300 people."
Tickets for her show are still available and are priced at £12.
The Mrs Moneypenny column began in 1999 and currently has a readership of around 700,000.
