New attractions unveiled in Edinburgh

People looking to stay in budget hostels in Edinburgh will be pleased to hear that Camera Obscura and World of Illusions has opened a number of new attractions.

Following a £1.2 million renovation, the attraction has reopened to the public with a host of new exhibits for visitors to enjoy.

Andrew Johnson, director and manager at Camera Obscura and World of Illusions, said: "We are delighted to be celebrating the launch of this fabulous new space in this, our 175th year of business.

"With the addition of exclusive exhibits such as the Ames Room, there is an endless amount of interactive fun to be had."

Along with the Ames Room, which makes visitors appear to be a giant or a dwarf depending on where they stand, there is also a swirling Vortex tunnel and a Get Lost mirror maze.

Those planning on visiting Edinburgh to see this new attraction may want to consider doing so over the next few weeks, as this will coincide with the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, which kicks off on Friday (August 6th).
