Jedward to play in Glasgow

Fans of Jedward, the twin brothers from last year's X-Factor, may want to book hostels in Glasgow, as the duo will be kicking off their UK tour in the city.

The brothers will be playing the at Glasgow Pavilion Theatre on November 8th after the public demanded a UK tour following the release of their album Planet Jedward.

A statement read: "Kicking off in Glasgow, the tour will see the Grimes brothers perform some of their best loved tracks including Ice Ice Baby & All The Small Things!

"With recent TV appearances on T4 On The Beach and Big Brother grabbing more headlines for the boys, fans up and down the UK have been patiently waiting to see their heroes."

Planet Jedward went straight to number one on the Irish album chart following its release on July 19th.

It is a concept album including covers of the Undertones' Teenage Kicks and The Beastie Boys' Fight For Your Right To Party.

Tickets for the show will be available to buy from August 14th.
