Doctor Who exhibition visits Newcastle

Time Lord fans visiting Tyneside for the Doctor Who exhibition may wish to check out the hostels in Newcastle.

A day spent perusing the props and costumes from the hit BBC show could prove tiring and those who have travelled to Newcastle for the exhibition could find a night at a hostel is just what the doctor ordered.

Among the ghouls and monsters on display are the Sontaran, Absorbaloff, Ood, Judoon, Autons, the Cybermen and, of course, the cult Daleks. The Tardis will also be on display.

Perhaps even more exciting than seeing the array of classic props from the show is the chance to see how they are made. Demonstrations will be held at the Centre for Life, where the event is taking place.

The props on display span many years, with some items from the newest series making an appearance.

The exhibition, which contains strobe lighting, only runs until October 31st, so those interested in a visit should think about booking soon.
