Visit Edinburgh for Beyond Borders

Edinburgh hostels could provide a great place from which to get out and about in Edinburgh and enjoy Beyond Borders.

Beyond Borders is an international art consortium that celebrates the work produced by people from small nations across the world.

The people highlighted in the Edinburgh programme, which runs until August 30th, include writers, filmmakers and intellectuals, among others.

Beyond Borders presents across a total of seven mediums. These are literature, music, theatre and visual arts, heritage, film, interfaith and dialogue.

Cultural projects that relate to each of the seven categories will be run throughout the length of the Edinburgh Festival.

One of the groups who performed earlier this month is Tashweesh, the three-strong audio-visual Palestinian group.

Other events include Do We Look Like Refugees?!, Mediating Conflict and Capturing Kurdistan.

Much of the material used during Beyond Borders relates to conflict.

Having spent the day viewing, visiting or listening to hard-hitting and thought-provoking art, people could well be in need of hostels in Edinburgh.
