Hear a good yarn in Scotland
People staying in Edinburgh hostels could enjoy an evening listening to some engaging tales.
The Scottish International Storytelling Festival may be just the thing for those who love nothing more than sitting back, relaxing and listening to the trials and tribulations of a fellow human being.
Whether it be witty anecdotes or inspiring rhetoric that you are after, there is likely to be something for everyone.
What is more, people can get involved themselves. If they think they have something worth saying there will be a chance to say it. Alternatively, the workshops could offer the quieter visitors an opportunity to build confidence and pipe up.
Events Edinburgh states: "The festival brings together artists and audiences from Scotland and beyond in entertaining and inspiring live storytelling performances, thought-provoking talks, workshops and discussions and fun family activities."
The festival runs from October 22nd to 31st at the Netherbow on the High Street in the capital.
