Hundreds to take part in Glasgow Zombie walk this Halloween

People looking for something a little different to do this Halloween could stay in Glasgow hostels, dress up as zombies and take part in a walk.

The concept of people dressing up and strolling around the streets of the city was introduced last year, when hundreds of people took part.

From the Eldon Street/Park Road entrance of Kelvingrove Park, the group will take a wander for an hour with many collecting money for charity.

Additionally, a Zombie Ball will be taking place at Sloans bar and restaurant in Glasgow on October 30th, with the walk and a barbeque scheduled to begin at 3pm on October 31st.

Colin Armstrong, who organised last year's event, told list.co.uk that he was inspired after working as a zombie extra in a film.

He told the news provider: "It was great fun, so I wanted to do something similar. I told my friends about these zombie walks I'd heard about and they said I should try and get one on the go."
