X Factor stars Jedward to bring change, and music, to Newcastle City Hall

X Factor singing duo Jedward will be performing in the north-east next month and those who supported the pair throughout last year's competition could stay in Newcastle hostels and seem them perform live.

The Planet Jedward tour began in April after the X Factor live tour concluded and by the end of its run in December, it will have been performed 62 times.

Newcastle City Hall will be hosting the gig on November 11th, where they will be performing a number of the hits they have covered.

Their debut single Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby) peaked at number two in the UK charts and number one in Ireland after its release in February this year.

Speaking about this year's X Factor series, Edward Grimes, who performs with his brother John, said that they changed the competition forever.

"Me and John were the Barack Obamas on The X Factor last year. We made the change and this year there have been loads of changes on The X Factor," he said.

"It's all about Jedward, it's all about Jedward-esque performances."
