The BBC's Glasgow Good Food Show will feature Gordon Ramsay and other top chefs
Food-lovers could stay in Glasgow hostels later this month and get a taste for one of the country's leading culinary events.
The BBC Good Food Show, running at the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre between October 22nd and 24th, will be a chance for people to see some of the country's top chefs cook their favourite dishes.
Confirmed attendees include Gordon Ramsay, who will be taking to the stage on the Friday, and James Martin.
In addition, celebrity MasterChef winner Lisa Faulkner will battle Dhruv Baker in a 'cook-off' in three half-hour shows hosted by John Torode and Gregg Wallace on the Saturday.
The event will also have stands for local producers to show off their creations along with hundreds of different catering, meat and other food companies.
According to the show's website, there were 17,500 visitors to last year's event with each person spending an average of £88 each.
Tickets for the show are priced at between £16.50 and £21.50 per day, depending on whether they are bought in advance or on the door.
