Newcastle set to host new Boyzone tour in March

One of the UK's most successful boy bands, Boyzone, are touring the UK next year and Newcastle hostels could provide their fans with the ideal resting spot after their performance.

Keith Duffy, Mikey Graham, Ronan Keating and Shane Lynch will be playing their collection of hits at the Metro Radio Arena on March 1st in their first tour since band member Stephen Gately passed away last year.

The group had a string of chart-toppers in the late 1990s with six number ones, including No Matter What and When The Going Gets Tough, while all four of their studio albums reached top spot in the UK.

Ahead of their 2008 tour, Ronan Keating told the Daily Record that no expense is spared when it comes to putting on a good show.

He said: "It's a massive, massive production. It would have been easy to make a quick buck but we are sinking all the money from the tour into the show itself."

Only a few tickets for next year's show remain.
