Michael Bolton performs to fans in Edinburgh later this month

Michael Bolton fans may want to book into Edinburgh hostels next week as the singer is set to perform his collection of hits in the city.

Edinburgh's Usher Hall will host the gig on November 17th as the American star sings a mix of songs new and old as part of his latest UK tour.

Thirty-five years after his first album was released, Bolton has now had eight top-ten records including two number-ones in the US.

Time, Love & Tenderness has been the singer's best-selling album to date, with four US number-one singles taken from the record.

When interviewed for This Morning earlier this week, Bolton said that family has become a bigger part of his life.

He said: "Everyone had told me it's tough to wrap your head around the term grandfather.

"If you're a musician, you're basically a 12-year-old permanently. But now it's your child's time to be a parent and you get to just adore it. She's just so precious."

Tickets to see Bolton at the Usher Hall are priced at £39.50.
