Edinburgh to play host to Interpol later this month

Edinburgh hostels could provide ideal accommodation for those planning to attend this month's Interpol concert in the city.

The band are set to perform at the city's Corn Exchange venue on 27th November and visitors to the show will be able to hear a range of hits from their extensive back catalogue.

Interpol formed in 1997 and received widespread critical acclaim for their debut album Turn on the Bright Lights, with many comparing their sound to post-punk rock groups of the 80s such as Joy Division and The Chameleons.

Their follow-up effort Antics was even more successful, selling 350,000 copies in its first four months of release and eventually achieving Gold status in both the US and UK.

The New Yorkers are sure to play much-loved tracks such as Slow Hands, Evil and C'mere, as well as material from their latest self-titled record.

Support is provided by indie rock band Surfer Blood.

Tickets for the show are still available priced at £22.50 excluding booking fees.
