Shakira to entertain Glasgow as part of upcoming world tour

Columbian singer Shakira will be shaking her hips for fans staying in Glasgow hostels next month by performing hits from her latest record record Sale el Sol.

The Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre will host the event on December 19th and the singer will no doubt be performing some of her most popular songs, including Hips Don't Lie, Whenever, Wherever and She Wolf.

The Sun Comes Out World Tour arrives after Sale el Sol peaked at number seven in the US billboard charts and received critical acclaim.

Mike J Allain, reviewing the album for themusiccycle.com, said that he was surprised at how good the bilingual songs are.

"I must admit although I was looking forward to this bilingual release, my expectations weren't very high," he said.

"Surprisingly the album exceeded my expectations. Sale el Sol might be her best release yet."

Tickets for the Glasgow show are priced between £45.25 and £50.75.
