'Punny man' Milton Jones set to take deadpan humour to Edinburgh

Comedian Milton Jones is heading to Scotland in May next year and those that enjoy his deadpan humour could book into Edinburgh hostels and see him live.

The Lion Whisperer tour will see Jones heading up and down the UK, stopping off at Venue 150 in the Edinburgh International Conference Centre on May 22nd.

He will be delivering puns and one-liners during the performance, similar to the style he has shown on television programmes such as Mock The Week and Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow.

Being on television may be something the stand-up prefers as, while speaking to the Littlehampton Gazette last month, he said touring does not mean comedians see a lot of the country.

"Ideally, you arrive in a place a bit early and find out something funny about the local area, but in reality you arrive 10 minutes before and you just rush on stage and say 'Hello, Oxford!' when you are actually in Cambridge," he told the news provider.

Tickets for the show are priced between £7.50 and £15.
