Usher set to perform new single in Glasgow gig

American singer Usher will be celebrating the release of his new single in Scotland next month and fans of his could stay in Glasgow hostels and see him perform live.

The Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre will be playing host to the gig on January 29th and fans could stay overnight and remain in the city for the weekend.

Usher has had considerable success with nine US number ones, which includes hits such as Yeah! and Love In This Club. He will release his latest single, More, in the UK on December 13th.

This track is from the singer's sixth studio album, Raymond Vs Raymond, which hit the shelves in the UK earlier this year.

A review of the album on musicloversgroup.com said that the record "opens up another chapter of Usher's coming of age".

It said: "With the help of some of the biggest producers in music including Polow Da Don, Jim Jonsin (Lollipop), Danja (Sober), and Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis, Raymond v Raymond is sure to paint a vivid portrait of growth, triumph, defeat and happiness."

Tickets for the Glasgow show are priced at £45.25.
