Edinburgh International Tango Festival features dancing workshops next May

Quick-moving dancing enthusiasts could look at booking into Edinburgh hostels and attending the Edinburgh International Tango Festival, which is set to take place in mid-2011.

The four-day event will be featuring at two locations in the city, Adam House and The Hub, as people wine, dine and dance to live music.

In addition to several performances from professional dancers, there will also be a series of workshops, including the ladies' and gentlemen's technique, romantic movement and tools for choreography.

Five levels of dancing workshops will be available, from beginners to masters, with all of the workshops being held at Adam House between May 27th and 30th.

For those unable to make the festival itself, the Edinburgh Tango Society runs a number of events throughout the year to entertain those who enjoy the dance routine.

There are also several versions of the dance, including the Finnish, ballroom and Argentinean tango.

Tickets for the workshops are priced at £21, with passes available for those looking to do more.
