Edinburgh International Magic Show set to make an appearing act next July

People looking for a magical time in Scotland could think about booking into Edinburgh hostels next July as the second Edinburgh International Magic show appears in town.

Though the exact dates have not been set for next year's show, people can keep their eyes open to ensure they do not miss out on the dazzling display of disappearance, mystery and mind-reading magic.

Last year's show featured a plethora of performers, including Colin McLeod who stopped his own pulse to turn his attentions to the spiritual world.

Additionally, Drew McAdam featured in his "Evening of MindPlay" performance and similar acts are expected to take part in next year's event.

Speaking ahead of last year's festival, Minister of the Scottish Parliament Robin Harper said: "Magic is an art form in its own right - it requires a sense of the dramatic, showmanship, consummate skill, inventiveness and mystery.

"There could be no better place for a festival of magic than Edinburgh itself."

Ticket details will be released shortly.
