Bon Jovi going full-circle on latest tour which includes Edinburgh show

Living on a Prayer may be one of the most played Friday night songs of all time but those wanting to sing along to it live could stay in Edinburgh hostels in June next year.

That is because Bon Jovi will be touring the UK in a series of open-air gigs, including Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium on June 22nd, before heading on to Ireland and Spain.

The band, made up of Jon Bon Jovi and four others, have been one of the most successful rock groups in the modern day, with 11 studio albums, four greatest hit records and a series of sell-out tours.

This, The Circle Tour, will see the band perform at 130 different locations by the time it comes to an end, taking the group to 30 countries.

Jon Bon Jovi, speaking to the Daily Star this week, said that they may even add Glastonbury to their line-up of shows.

"I've always toyed with the idea of playing there," he told the news provider.

"If they don't have another old-timer like me, I'd love to go out and see it and perhaps do a set, sure."

Standing tickets for the Edinburgh gig are priced from £56.25.
