Edinburgh to host special screening of Trainspotting
Fans of Danny Boyle films may like to stay in Edinburgh hostels to mark the 15th anniversary of Trainspotting.
To mark the occasion, there will be a special free screening of the film at the Royal Scottish Academy on February 2nd.
Fans of the film can claim free tickets by visiting the See Film Differently website and the deadline for applying is January 28th.
After watching it, attendees will also be invited to an exclusive exhibition in the Ingleby Gallery, which featured in the 1996 film.
According to film-news.co.uk, the exhibition will feature rare stills, original promotional material and photography from the movie.
There will also be a live DJ set that will feature music from the film, such as Iggy Pop's Lust for Life.
Trainspotting was based on the novel by Irving Welsh. It follows a group of heroin addicts in Edinburgh in the late 1980s.
It stars Ewan McGregor, Jonny Lee Miller and Robert Carlyle.
