Keith James to sing songs of Leonard Cohen in Edinburgh

Hostels in Edinburgh could be a good option for Leonard Cohen fans who are interested in seeing Keith James sing his songs.

Keith James in concert: The songs of Leonard Cohen is due to take place on April 7th in The Ballroom.

Mr James revealed on his website that this tour has been his most inspiring one to date and that he is deep in rehearsal.

He wrote: "[Leonard Cohen] is the most articulate lyricist and about as seductive as it gets...it is impossible to improve Famous Blue Raincoat. My favourite so far in terms of performance is Secret Life."

Tickets for Keith James's concert cost £8.50. Only people aged over 18 will be admitted.

Leonard Cohen is a Canadian singer/songwriter who is best known for his song Hallelujah, which featured on Various Positions.

This song was made famous once again by X-Factor winner Alexandra Burke, who released it as a single in 2008.

Ms Burke revealed that she had not heard the song before recording it, revealing that initially "it didn't do anything" for her.
