Arcade Fire set to play in Edinburgh Castle
Edinburgh hostels could be an option for Arcade Fire fans when the band plays in the city.
It had been revealed that the Canadian rockers will play in Edinburgh Castle on Thursday September 1st, tickets for which will go on sale on February 11th.
The gig will be a one-off open air gig and it will follow the band's appearance in Manchester's MEN arena.
Those planning to attend the concert will be treated to hits from Arcade Fire's third studio album The Suburbs, which features songs such as Ready to Start and Month of May.
Arcade Fire have been nominated for both Grammy and Brit Awards and the band is expected to play at both ceremonies.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, Butler once revealed the origin of the band's name, revealing it was based on a story about a fire in an arcade.
He told the news provider: "It's based on a story that someone told me. It's not an actual event, but one that I took to be real. I would say that it's probably something that the kid made up, but at the time I believed him."
