Shaolin Warriors heading to Glasgow

Those planning to stay in hostels in Glasgow may like to attend a performance by Shaolin Warriors.

Shaolin Warriors: Legends of Kung Fu will be being performed at the Theatre Royal in Glasgow on May 27th and 28th.

For an hour and 15 minutes, attendees will be amazed at the internationally acclaimed production.

A statement from the theatre said: "This is a fully choreographed spectacular that features 22 professionally trained Kung-Fu Masters; audiences will be amazed and thrilled by their death defying Kung-Fu disciplines such as qigong, animal imitation boxing, drunken boxing and fighting with 18 kinds of dangerous traditional weapons."

Those attended will also be treated to "gorgeous scenery", music and "beautiful lights", it added.

Shaolin kung fu refers to a collection of Chinese martial arts that claim affiliation with the Shaolin Monastery.

The Shaolin Monastery is a Chan Buddhist temple at Song Shan near Zhengzhou City Henan Province in Dengfeng, China. It was founded in the 5th century.
