Adele set for Glasgow gig

Fans of singer/songwriter Adele may want to stay in Glasgow hostels after seeing her play in the city.

The songstress will be performing at the O2 ABC Glasgow on April 15th, where she will be playing tracks from both her first album, 19, and her latest release, 21.

Fans may be treated to classic hits such as Chasing Pavements and Hometown Glory, along with songs from the new album including Set Fire to the Rain and Someone Like You.

Adele, whose full name is Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, released her latest album on January 24th. The first single from the album, Rolling in the Deep, reached number two in the UK charts.

The singer recently revealed that she would like to write songs that reveal her happier side.

In an interview with the Daily Star, she said: "I write songs when the curtains are closed and I'm on my fifth bottle of red wine or something like that. But as I keep evolving as a songwriter, I hope I will learn to articulate my happiness and channel it."
