Tony Hawks to entertain Newcastle audience

Comedy fans who are planning to stay in city centre accommodation in Newcastle may like to books some tickets to see Tony Hawks.

The funnyman will be performing at the Journal Tyne Theatre on October 7th in his stand-up show, which is named Random Fun.

Fans of Hawk can buy tickets to the event for £16.

The 51-year-old will be looking back at some of the strangest events in his life as part of the show.

A statement from the theatre said: "As a comedian, best-selling author, international popstar, celebrated fridge owner, film producer, tennis player, and regular member of some of the UK's most famous TV and radio panel shows, Tony's career has meandered into many different areas and he brings them all to life on stage in his warm and entertaining new show."

Those planning to see the comedian perform may also be interested to hear that Hawk's book Round Ireland with a Fridge was adapted to film and released at the end of last year.
