Spend an evening with Rob Brydon in Newcastle

Comedy fans may like to stay in city centre accommodation in Newcastle after spending an evening with Rob Brydon.

The funnyman will be delving into his past and revealing how he rose to fame during an intimate evening at the Journal Tyne Theatre.

Tickets for the event cost £14 and it is part of the comedian's book tour, with Brydon promoting his new read, Small Man in A Book.

A statement from the theatre said: "Rob will explore his childhood spent in South Wales and how his hearty burr soon resounded across the airwaves.

"He will uncover just how he became the voice behind almost every household brand in the country and the lengths at which he went to in order to turn his love of acting into an illustrious career."

Brydon was born in Swansea in 1965. As a student at Dumbarton House School, Brydon famously stole the lunch money from fellow pupil Catherine Zeta-Jones.
